Houston Comm College first mLearning via iPhone
GHEC member, Roger Boston was able to secure $100k grant to launch a successful iPhone mLearning pilot at the Houston Community College Southeast campus.GHEC was able to provide "in kind" support to Roger and team for the Chancellor's Innovation grant. Needless to say, it was awarded to Roger and Professor Lifang Tien and 30 students are now engage and learning throught the iPhone.

There will be an iPhone seminar at the University of Houston on April 1, 1:30-3:30. Steve Hayman, Apple Consulting Engineer and developer tools expert, will provide a fact-filled and entertaining presentation on the tools and programs that are available for developing applications on the iPhone and iPod touch.
